A charming Bed and Breakfast in Provence
Le Mas des Etoiles is a charming Bed and Breakfast Accommodation- (Guest house - B&B) at Gordes in the heart of Luberon, Provence between vineyards and cherry orchards. It is nestled at the bottom of Gordes village, which is itself perched on a promontory facing Oppède-le-Vieux, Ménerbes ( the place where Peter Mayle wrote his books on the art of living in Provence) and close to Roussillon, Lourmarin and other historical villages inside the Luberon Regional Park in a quiet and preserved environment.

The hosts
Annette will welcome you warmly with her natural kindness in her bed and breakfast, a vast stone house built after authentic old dwellings. The Mas contains treasures accumulated in the course of a well filled life. Annette was born in Argentina near Buenos Ayres. She lived in both Argentina and the United States and then moved to France - Paris and Lille - to raise a family of 4 children - now 11 grandchildren - 2 more in recent months). Then François' job and a mutual taste for travelling led them to visit most of the World and especially the US, Mexico, South-East Asia... The kids married, Francois and Annette settled in Provence. |

Communication with guests from abroad should be good as Annette is naturally fluent in Spanish and English. She loves speaking with Italians in their langage. On his part, François, because of his frequent trips to the US, is also fluent in English, a good level in Spanish and is improving German. Lastly, having lived in Rijsel ( Lille) and worked in Brussels he can handle at least written Dutch. All nationalities are welcome.

Comfort
The Mas des Etoiles is as cool as the reception is warm.
It marries noble ingredients (for instance marble, oak or tiled floors, Murano lightings ... to the utmost in comfort : Very effective Air Cooling in every room, salted swimming pool. ( to keep sun tan)... The Sands Rooms " and "of The little Girls" are equipped with a small bed for kids between 3 and 6. |

Cuisine
The Mas is surrounded by outstanding restaurants generally with a pleasant French classy atmosphere or local typical "bistros". In the higher range, l'Estellan, le Mas Tourteron and "Vieux Bistro" are just close. We have also Mas de la Senancole and we have made a selection of nice small restaurants for lunch and exclusive picnic areas. |

Breakfasts are French Style with the best Croissants and special breads around, and they are included in the price. They are served in the summer dining room alongside the pool or under the pergola facing the vineyard. Annette produces her own jams that some guests talk of as true marvels. Special options are possible.

The bedrooms
The Mas des Etoiles offers you large and comfortable rooms (more than 20 sq m) , all equipped with quality bath rooms in the style of Provence - bath and (or) showers and toilets |
On the first floor and in a separate building,
- the "Birds Room" and
- the "Angels Room" compete for a prize in romantism.
They are both 25 sq m and have a small private garden, a large bath room with bath and shower.
On the top floor and in the main structure
You can ask for getting the two first rooms together and then you have an independant outside stairway on the back of the house.
All rooms have a radiant floor cooling and a sophisticated decor with books and magazines.
The Mas is also equiped for WIFI or wall-plugged Internet access everywhere. So no worry on chatting with mom on Skype.
